Burger #66 – Ed Emberley Drawing
July 21, 2010 2 Comments
If you can draw these things, you can draw a burger…

You may not remember the name, but you probably remember Ed Emberley‘s step-by-step instructional drawing books. This past weekend was the opening of the gallery exhibition Ed Emberley & Friends, presented by Scion Space in Culver City. Emberley himself was there and was greeted with a long line of fan’s hoping for a one of a kind drawing and autograph. There are some original manuscripts for show as well as a large mural, created by a few artists that were influenced by him.
Here is my “How to Draw Burger” tribute to Emberley’s teaching style. I remember using his books for reference when I was a kid and one time drew a large Halloween poster for a family party.
Check it out if you get a chance, now through August 7.
