WAKE Art Show for Dia De Los Muertos

This is not Hamburger related, but if you are in the Los Angeles area, come check out “WAKE” at Space Luna this Friday Oct. 28th, featuring artwork by myself as well as other talented artist such as Freehand Profit and Sebastian Bleak.

Los Angeles, CA 10/28/2011 — spaceLUNA presents WAKE: our dia de los muertos show on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2404 Wilshire Blvd Suite 1B, Los Angeles, CA 90057 (the American Cement Building) from 8pm-MIDNIGHT. The show features over a dozen local LA artists and 1 bay area contributor. Paintings, sculptures, photographs, light installations, and diorama pieces are shown in the 850 sq/ft gallery and the outside 300 sq/ft cage.

Cement Studios (www.cementstudio.net), also located in the American Cement Building on the 11th floor, hosts pieces by Carrie Maseredjian and Ramichael Monsod. Hourly tours will be available during WAKE.

La Fonda (www.lafondasupperclub.com) and The Superslice (www.thesuperslice.com) are WAKE’s official sponsors. La Fonda hosts the after-party. Attendees of WAKE will receive free admission to La Fonda.

Hamburger Bed for Sale

No doubt inspired by the original hamburger bed, a Craigslister from Los Angeles has offered up their very own hamburger bed for sale:
It is with great sadness that I must part ways with my bacon cheeseburger bed since I will be moving due to a new employment offer in a different city and will be unable to move my special bed due to its large size. This bed was custom made this year and is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever been on. The top bun is nice and squishy like a large bean bag chair. The bed measures approximately 84 inches in diameter by 38 inches tall. This bed includes the top and bottom hamburger buns, a large king size wendys style square hamburger patty, cheese, lettuce, 2 strips of bacon, tomatoes, and pickles.
